No. The app is a great tool to coordinate emergency doctors, ambulances and rescue teams to your geo location, overcome potential language barriers and save valuable time. Obviously, these services come at a cost and it is highly recommended to have insurance coverage for this. However, there is no obligation to have insurance coverage in order to use the app but you need to be a member of Veltracon Medical.
The Rescue Me App is a comprehensive emergency assistance application designed to provide instant help and coordination in emergencies worldwide, emphasizing seamless integration with modern technology for global travelers’ safety and well-being.
The app for Apple iOS can be found in the Apple Store. The Android app can be found in Google Play.
The apps are installed directly after download from the appropriate app store. Upon first log-in, a menu will guide you through multiple, self-explanatory screens.
